Who Am I?

26 May

Hello. My name is Justin Anderson, founder and operator of The Justin Anderson Project. I am writing this blog for a number of reasons…but first of all, I would like to explain the reasoning for this particular entry. There is no true explanation for me to explain the purpose of my life or the direction of my thoughts, but I tell you this: the reason I am creating this “project” is simply for the public sharing of my actions. I have numerous ideas cluttering all areas of my mind and I need an outlet. For the following days to come I will be posting numerous articles about a variety of subjects that come to my thoughts. Most likely, they will initially pertain to my latest novel–Druid: A Promised Land (check out the tab marked ‘Druid’ for more information). In any case, I would like for you to keep returning to my blog, so I will cut this message short as I do not wish to repel you from the boringness of my rambling. For a quick tidbit of what is to come, imagine this scenario…

A world where no two beings are even REMOTELY similar. Im talking about a place where one individual does not resemble another in the least. If a person with blue skin has two eyes and feet with seven toes, another blue-skinned individual would not have two eyes. If they did fit both of the same criteria, person B would only have four toes to compensate for past similarities. Understand? If there was a world that contained individuals such as this, how could a society be formed? Society is based on common similarities, mutual understandings between people. Therefore, how could society function without people? The term “people” refers to collected unit consisting of similar individuals that are close enough to be categorized under one title. If a world was inhabited by individuals that were as unique as I described, then how could they ever form a society? Sure, all the blue-skinned, two-eyed beings could form a nation, but thats not accounting for their diverse minds. In order to truly make society, one must not be close-minded to the idea of diversity and difference. Whether one realizes it or not, we each have a unique person living inside of us–be it blue-skinned and three-eyed or eight-armed with no mouth–one can find a place in their world.

Feel free to leave any comment you like (as long as its appropriate)
Thanks!
